I was swimming with a little girl, she said that she had a new swimming suit, and I told her it was a cute swimming suit. Later on in the lesson she said that it wasn't working and I asked her what was not working? She said “My new swimming suit”. She thought that her new swimming suit would help her swim better.

A little boy I was teaching swimming lessons to wanted to jump off the diving board. After he jumped off he said that hurt my knee. I asked him if his knee hit the board and he said no, it hit the water hard. He then had to look at his knee, he told me that when his knee bleeds it is orange. I said do you mean red? He said no orange. He continued with this story: No my knee definitely bleeds orange. But when I go digging for boogies my nose bleeds red.

Little boy…”My swim trunks moved up.” Me…..”Your swim trunks did what?” Little boy….”You know WEGGIE, Duh!”

Little swimmer….”I am going to O, O, O, Ohio. No not Ohio, O, O, O, O, O,…..”

Me….”Ozarks?” Little swimmer….” Yes, Ozarks where there is a lake. I am going fishing and swimming. My mom bought me swimmer shoes you know. That way I can jump in the water and catch a turtle by the tail and whip him into the boat. I can’t wait.” Later……..I told him goodbye and told him I hope he catches his turtle. He said….” No not a turtle an eight foot bass!” This little guy was very excited and probably will have a lot of stories to tell me after his trip. Too bad I won’t see him when he gets back.
