So we went to the dietitian together.
She had very good information.
But Crickett is depressed about the whole thing.
Why are we having so many life changing events?
This is not fair!!
I told Crickett that I will support him in this diet and follow it with him.
I just may have a few things I need to eat that he is not able.
I will do it when he is not around :)
Thursday is my day of hopefully finding out that my heart is healthy and maybe just Syncope.
So with Crickett on a diet with Body by Vi, low in carbohydrates and full of nutrient I will work on recipes for these shakes. Help Crickett enjoy his diet and become healthier.
He can't get rid of his diabetes but he sure can control it.
Here are some shake recipes. Some are mine, some are ones I found.
Crickett's favorite shake so far:
Berry-Banana
1 cup of Orange Juice
1/3-1/2 container of Yogurt
ice cubes
1/4 cup blueberries
3 strawberries
1/3-1/2 banana
2 scoops of Body by Vi shake
Pumpkin pie
1 cup Almond milk
1/2 cup pumpkin
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ginger
1 Tbsp sugar free Vanilla pudding
2 scoops of Body by Vi shake
Fuzzy Navel
1 cup Orange Juice or 1/2 almond milk and 1/2 OJ
1/2 cup peaches
1 tsp sugar free peach jello
ice cubes
2 scoops of Body by Vi shake
Okay my favorite
Chocolate-Peanut butter
1 cup Chocolate Almond Milk or regular Almond milk and 1Tbsp sugar free choco. pudding
2 Tbsp peanut butter
ice cubes
2 scoops of Body by Vi shake
Almond Joy
1 cup Chocolate Almond Milk or regular Almond milk and 1Tbsp sugar free choco. pudding
1 tsp coconut extract
ice cubes
2 scoops of Body by Vi shake
We can do this! Crickett and I can both get healthier!
