I have had to rely on a lot of good people these last few weeks.

Mary Kay and Duane were the first.  They did so much for me and I really appreciate it.  It stinks that I was on vacation and instead of seeing the new sites, I saw new movies.  Mary and Duane were good hosts and took good care of me.

Sally took me on my first adventure out on the town.  We went to the doctor in the morning and than she helped me with a few errands and a little shopping.  We made a day of it. It was great getting out for the first time in a long time.  

Brady also has helped.  He does a few things for me around the house that I ask and he took me to Walmart and pushed me in a wheel chair for a very quick shopping trip.

Crickett has been very good to me.  He protects me.  Watches out for me.  He takes good care of me.  He has given good advice for my knee and makes sure I take good care of my knee.

I appreciate everything!

But...............I am happy to have some of my independence back :)

Yesterday was Crickett's 49th Birthday.  I decorated a cake for him.  What do you think?  Nice job, huh?!?    Did I out due Lynn, LOL!  I could teach you my technique Lynn if you would like.
