NeW yOrK

We took the bus to NYC thinking there may be things to see on the way. Well it was rainy and there was not much to see. 

When Adam met us he asked what we would like to see?  We told him "you".  Since we did not give him any ideas he took us to some of his favorite places.  What do you think a chef took us to see?  We saw and ate a lot of good food. 

Chelsea Market

This was a Campbell Soup factory. It is now several stores with a lot of different foods. My favorites were where you could get about any kind of fresh seafood. And  Amy's Bread where I had a crosiant with chocolate in the middle. 

We went to Adams neighborhood.

Nothing fancy but an expensive area to live in. 

Washington Square Gardens

He told us how when he walks a lot of times he sees Sarah Jessica Parker walking. He can always tell it's her because there is always a couple of photographers by her.   He said she can't even walk her kids to school without photos. He said that the restaurant serves a lot of celebrities. We went for lunch at his restaurant. I ate too much!  But it was all so good. First time for a crab grilled cheese. 

As we were walking to the train station I just ha to take a picture of this for Sally. 

So for the ride back to Philly it was the train. A little faster and a lot more expensive.
