FiRsT dAy Of SwIm LeSsOnS

It was the first day of swim lessons today and what a day. We have been having a lot of rain since the calendar turned to June.

They said on the news out of the 14 days it has rained 10.
And today you can say it rained.
You could say it rained a lot.
It always makes a mess out of my pool. But in time for swim lessons the weather seemed to be getting better and the radar looked promising for a day of swim lessons.
I started lessons at 2 PM and it all started out well.
At 4:00 the weather seemed to change and the clouds became a little crazy.
Found out there was a Tornado Watch but it soon became a Tornado Warning.
I had several people in my basement. And had to cancel swim lessons.


Tornado only hit down for a short time. And it hit down behind the bluff. We live just on the other side of the bluff. I am so thankful we were all safe and the tornado did not harm anything.

We came out of the basement around 5:00 and was surprised by the sunshine. Ended the evening with a few more swim lessons and cleaning up the pool some.

Yes, it was a little crazy day!
I am thankful for a lot!
