Well I finally got around to going out to find a Christmas tree. I searched the Quad Cities and did not find the tree I want. You see, I am lazy and cheap, LOL! I want a good price and I want the lights already on the tree. I would love to have a fiber optic tree again or a tree with LED lights. I really hate putting on the lights and even worse taking them off the tree. I no longer have little ones at my feet excited about decorating the tree and so why get too excited about all the work it involves. Did I just hear Bah-Hum-Bug?
And did you know my family a couple of years ago decided not to exchange Christmas gifts? I really do not like how Christmas is so commercialized but that is not the only reason for no gift exchanges. I am sure once we have little ones chasing around here, there will once again be gifts under our tree. But for now I do enjoy the stress-free Christmas.
I came home with the back of my Escape full but no tree. So I am improvising. I bought a few stocking stuffers, a few things for me, a few things for the house and some Christmas Decorations.
This improvised tree really smells good :)
