Two things my brother has taught me recently. I guess being older makes you a little wiser Randy! But it is not always easy to admit that you (Randy) were right, LOL! So I am going to share your knowledge with others.


1. Hard boiled eggs. Randy commented it is easier to peel an egg if you put it in the water while it is boiling rather than put the eggs in the cold water and wait for it to boil. But my eggs always crack when I do that. I did not think it made a difference until I thought I would test it out. And DANG he was right. Not something I like to admit too often :) The eggs peel so much better if you wait to put them in the water after it starts to boil.


2. Soap suds. When you rinse the soap suds out of your sink what kind of water do you use? I use cold water because it rinses the suds away better. Well then why when you rinse dishes do you use hot water? Would it not make more sense to use cold water to rinse off the dishes? It makes sense to me now that I think about it. But Randy had to be the one to bring it to my attention.


Well, Randy may be a little wiser than me, but that is only because he is way OLDER than me.
