It is a celebration today!
It is Dr Seuss's Birthday!
We celebrate Read Across America

It is also my baby's Birthday!

This year will be a different song for Brady.
When working at the elementary school, I would call him and have kids sing to him. The children were always pumped up with the celebration at school and excited to sing Happy Birthday to Brady. Some years I would have the entire Kdg., 1st and 2nd graders singing to him during lunch. Other years I would have a class in the library that would sing to him or I would grab a few 4th or 5th graders willing to sing.

This year Brady will have only his Grandma and Grandpa singing to him.
With me no longer working at the school I don't think I could convince my co-workers at the administration office to sing to him and it would not be safe to grab kids off the street.


I do not know where the 24 years have gone!

He definitely has made life interesting!
He has brought a lot of laughter in our home.
Many Erkel moments with him.
Along with the tears of laughter there were also other tears.



We are proud of his success in the Air Force!

We are glad that he is working towards fulfilling his dream of flying.

For me...........

......this is what I will always remember!
