The wait!!!  We got to the University at 8AM.  His surgery scheduled for 10AM.  It is past 12PM and the waiting is a struggle.  He was a nervous reck this morning.  Full of all kinds of emotions.  I will try to keep this updated as I hear things.

Well, 3 hours and 45 minutes later the doctor came to see me and said everything went well.  He said that he will have to take antibiotics again for 6 weeks.  It will be oral antibiotics.  He said that he should be relieve of a lot of the pain he has been experiencing and he should get more motion from his knee now.  He said that he will come in yet today to talk to both of us.

He is doing great!

Crickett is feeling as well as expected!  And he may come home tonight.  The doctor was very happy with everything.  He said that he should recover well.  Great news finally!

I am sure Crickett will become frustrated at times and get "antsy" but we finally have good news to celebrate.  He was so nervous yesterday.  When I woke him up in the morning I told him, "Aren't you excited.  This is the new beginning of recovery".  He did not agree with me at the time.  I gave him a plaque that said "Have Faith, not Worry".  I do not think he liked it too well, at the time.

I just realized at least half of what I wrote on June 11 is not on here.

Crickett is home.  He is doing very well.  Again and again I thank those who have prayed for him.  The power of pray is amazing!

It is great seeing Crickett improving and his spirits high!  Of course physical therapy is not all that fun for him and he experiences pain after and the even the day after, it is a good pain.  It is a healing pain.  Much different than the infection pain and arthritis pain.  He is on the road to recovery :)

Next week we see the doctor and he gets his stitches out and maybe some restrictions removed so that he is more comfortable and more independent.  I can not express it enough how thankful we are of our prayer warriors.  THANK YOU!

Please also remember in your prayers Sally as she struggles through her healing process of a wound that is difficult to heal.  Sally had good news yesterday.  Her wound is starting to heal but she will need more hyperbaric to continue the healing.  Also, the Kulsrud boys (Tanner, Lane and Ty) they continue to struggle with PKAN on a daily basis.  Today, Laura has a conference call with the drug company to beg and plead with them.  Tanner has not been doing well and desperately needs to start on this drug to help him.  The company has changes in management and what was promised to her is now being held from the boys.  Doug and Kent struggle with lung cancer but are healing and doing better. They both need prayers as they continue to go through their healing process and become stronger.  Kathleen is being so positive and strong as she continues chemotherapy.  Pray for healing and continued strength.

I pray that God will wrap his loving arms around you all and that you feel his comfort and healing.

It was a good day at the doctors office.  Crickett is making great progress and the doctor feels at this time there is no reason that he can not get back to work by the end of August.  Yeah!  September could be back to normal.  But what is normal?
