The shower is coming along. And than he came to this. Broke a bunch of tiles trying to cut out the holes.

And than finally it was done to perfection.

Just the grouting is left to do now. Can not wait to have the bathroom back.

And how did he find time to do the shower? Well it is a stressful story. We came home from Chicago to find a small leak in our basement that grow to a bigger leak. And than it got even bigger. We now have a huge mess in our basement. Floor covering removed. Walls removed. And the list goes on......

Below is a wall in our family room. The beautiful ceramic tile removed, crushed and destroyed. The walls removed. With sweat and time they will be replaced.

Basement bathroom is a mess.

Normally this space is filled with many things that I store. Under the stairs is where the first crack appeared. The carpet was soaked.

I hate doing laundry but now I wish I had my laundry room back. How long will it be empty?

Oh...... the work that is ahead of us. Crickett has spent a week of vacation on this mess. He was able to work on tiling our upstairs bathroom but I would much rather of waited for it than to have the mess in the basement.
2 more reasons to not like this mess. It spent my Vegas money. And now Crickett will probably not have vacation time for Vegas.

I HATE SPENDING MONEY ON STUFF LIKE THIS!

Isaiah 54:10

Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

Isaiah 41:10

So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 40:31

but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
