L'Gang Sisterhood

Somethings I have learned from my sisters.......

Speak the truth because in the end it always comes out.
You just can't keep secrets for long in a house full of girls.

I have to say it was easy to learn from their mistakes.
Don't do what they just got in trouble for.

Great recipes, knitting, braiding hair...even though I never had a girl to braid her hair.
Hopefully my granddaughter will allow me to braid her hair :)

Share...to be grateful for the little things
because by the time they got down to me there was not much left.

Play games and make funny jokes
even in the most serious of times. But I did not always laugh right away.

Patience......because again I had to wait
things had to go from oldest to youngest and down the line.

To make my own kind of fashion.
Had to do something to get recognized.

How to make the best of a bad hair day.
And to learn to wait until they were not home to raid their closet.

That by the time I came along my parents were worn down and my sisters have paved the way to more freedoms for me.

How to be a friend and what it is like to have an enemy
and love her.

How to create funny sing-a-longs
and make fun of each other

They will never forget your mistakes
and will remind you of them often.

To not be judgmental ..we all 5 are different and in ways the same
We can not judge the other for what we have become and the different ways our live have evolved.
